光绪二十二年（1896）11月在安庆创建安徽银元局。光绪二十三年（1897年）安徽巡抚邓华熙向清廷呈铸造银元的奏折，获准后即派侯补道员潘汝杰赴沪订购西方进口全套造币机器。第二年（1898年）即光绪二十四年是干支纪年的戊戌年，安徽银元局铸造了“二十四年安徽省造光绪元宝库平七钱二分”和“戊戌安徽省造光绪元宝库平七钱二分”两种版式的银元主币。两种版式银币正面的汉字和满文风格以及六花星的形状均有明显区别，但是银币背面的英文、龙图和六花星设计基本相同。戊戌年造的光绪元宝库平七钱二分的出现不仅反映出当时社会的政治经济状况，还为今人研究古时社会提供了有利的实物资料，具有十分重要的意义。

安徽省光绪元宝

安徽省造光绪元宝库平七钱二分，钱币正面珠圈内为“光绪元宝”四字直读，上环安徽省造，下环库平七钱二分币值，左右长寿花装饰，钱币背面中心为蟠龙图，神龙身躯丰满，粗壮威武，张牙舞爪，形态逼真，旁边有祥云相伴，更显大气磅礴，帝王威风凛然之气跃然而出，甚是令人敬畏；龙的周边刻制着英文字样，标明了当时中国从政治和经济方面已经与外国接轨，影响十分深远，具有无法估量的艺术价值和收藏价值。此币保存完整，图案深俊，钱文清晰，字体圆润俊美，笔画遒劲有力，包浆轻薄均匀，银光温润，声音悠长，堪称出类拔萃，为藏家梦寐以求，极为珍贵。细赏其纹饰，蜿蜒盘踞的神龙在平坦光洁的镜面上显得格外醒目，栩栩如生，有立体雕塑之感，用手触摸，可感受到排列整齐的龙鳞和凹凸有致的铸造工艺，手感十分舒适，质感极佳。如此别具一格的设计，不仅凸显出神龙的威武霸气，还彰显了匠师们高超娴熟的铸造工艺，实乃精绝之作。

天禄通宝，辽·世宗耶律阮于天禄年间(公元947——951)所铸。1981年八月，内蒙古巴林右旗羊场乡上石匠山辽代窖藏中出土一枚，是早期辽钱的实证。钱文隶书旋读，朴拙浑厚，光背。“禄”字右下部“水”字竖勾两旁四点，与旧谱所载录撇捺有异，可见天禄通宝钱并非一种版别。

“天禄”是辽世宗耶律阮在公元九四七年用的年号，共四年。其中尚在五代末期，契丹太宗耶律德光起劲兵长驱南下，扫平并灭掉后晋出帝石重贵，于公元九四七年正月初一，进入汴京（今开封市），受百官朝贺。

此枚“天禄通宝”钱币正面印刻着“天禄通宝”四字，字迹清晰，苍劲有力。观其铸体，铸制规整，边圆廓正，坦平地章，穿缘廓干净，优良铸工，更显字廓深竣挺拔，精整有加。品赏其钱文，可见元祐通宝之特有字体端美亮眼，十分耐赏！

此币背面光面，整体币面造型较为分明，古铜色圆型钱币，中间穿正方形孔，钱币前后氧化一致，有明显的原光包浆，此钱币是一件开门到代的美品钱币。咸丰重宝身份极为尊贵，是众多钱币收藏爱好者及研究专家的所爱之品，因而也展现出极佳的市场收藏价值。
